Glossary

The terms of this artifact's domain. Code identifiers derive from a term by the language's naming convention only; never use a synonym. A term in prose is set in italics.

Command Pane	Part of the page of the Web App that holds the input fields and buttons with which the Robot Operator commands the robot
Status Pane	Part of the page of the Web App that shows the state of the robot; output only, apart from controls of its own display
Event Log	List in the Status Pane of the outcomes of the commands of the Robot Operator, newest first
Health Indicator	Lamp with a text in the Status Pane that shows whether the Superordinate Controller answers one of its health endpoints as healthy
Translation	Movement of the robot in a direction, without turning it, at a speed for a duration
Rotation	Movement of the robot around its center, clockwise or counterclockwise, at a speed for a duration
Telemetry Snapshot	The Battery Voltage and the Motor Speeds of the robot at one point in time, as the Superordinate Controller computes them
Telemetry Stream	Stream of the Superordinate Controller that pushes a Telemetry Snapshot at a fixed interval
Telemetry Value	Label with a text in the Status Pane that shows one value of the latest Telemetry Snapshot, or unknown
Movement Preview	Drawing in the Status Pane of the robot seen from above, with arrows for the directions of the Translation and the Rotation as they stand in the Command Pane
Robot Circle	Circle of the Movement Preview that stands for the outline of the robot
Measured Movement	The Translation and Rotation that the Measured Speeds of the three motors amount to, drawn in green in the Movement Preview
Measured Speed	Speed of one motor as the Superordinate Controller reports it in a Telemetry Snapshot, in percent, with the sign of its target speed
